Clinton County Department of Health of Health is also known as the Clinton County Board of Health. Its Staff of skilled nurses provides Clinton County with medical services such as immunization clinics and developmental clinics. The Outreach Developmental Clinics are for children ages 0-6 years who are not meeting appropriate developmental milestones. A team from CCDD (Center for Children with Developmental Disorders) completes the assessments. Immunization checks may include DTaP, Hepatitis B, HIB, Polio, Prevnar at 2- 6 months, MMR, Polio, Varicella (Chicken Pox) at 12 months, HIB, DTaP, Prevnar at 4 – 6 years and TD at 14-16 years or every 10 years.
Wic Services are offered as well and the program offers the following: Better nutrition for Mothers, Babies, and Young Children, Buys food for Women, Infants, and Children less than 5 years old, and teaches mothers about breastfeeding. Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding an infant or are new Mothers are encouraged to apply. The Clinton County Board of Health also offers Lice Head Checks
